Pink Floyd were formed in 1965 by students Syd Barrett, Nick Mason, Richard Wright and Roger Waters - later joined by David Gilmour 2 years later. Becoming rock legends in the 1970s with albums such as The Dark Side of The Moon, Wish You Were Here and of course The Wall.
Pink Floyd eventually split in 1995 and briefly reformed in a 2005 reunion for Live 8 and Gilmour and Mason joined Roger Waters for his The Wall Tour in 2011.
Floyd were massive inspiration to acts such as David Bowie, U2, Queen & Radiohead.
