Born in 1975 and adopted by two university professors, Kate Victoria Tunstall is a Scottish singer-songwriter and musician. It was her self-produced first album "Eye to the Telescope" which marked her out as a major talent in 2004.
Her hit single "Suddenly I See" won her the Ivor Novello Award in 2006 for Best Song and has featured on many films and television programmes such as "The Devil Wears Prada" and "Grey’s Anatomy".
Her fifth album "Invisible Empire// Crescent Moon" also won her a Brit Award for Best British Female Artist. She has won a Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
